An award winning Swiss blue cheese, this soft, double cream cheese is a distinctive brick shape and is creamy, buttery with delicate peppery spice and mushroom notes.
Made from cow’s milk that meets the requirements for Gruyère quality but is treated differently. Due to the blue mould cultures, the cheeses are taken directly from the salt brine to a nearby cellar to develop it’s one of a kind appearance.
Pairs beautifully with sweet wines such as Sauternes, Tokaji or a Late Harvest Riesling, while a glass of Vintage Port enhances its rich, creamy character. For beer lovers, a Belgian Dubbel or a robust brown ale complements its savoury depth.
